about me who am i and what am i doing here? it's impossible to know what to write about myself that doesn't make me sound like a pratt, so i will simply tell you the facts and then leave you to explore and make up your mind what you think after that. my name is renata, i live in the uk with three children, elliot (10) lilia (8) and dominic (6). there also appear to be two dogs, three cats and countless chickens hanging around too. dominic, my youngest child has an undiagnosed medical condition that means he's in a wheelchair and has complex health needs. he is also the funniest 6 year old you'll ever meet. my oldest boy, elliot has recently been diagnosed with aspergers, which came as a bit of a shock. i started the website to try and share a bit of our lives, hoping to find families along the way who thought they were the only ones out there, and showing everyone else that we're a dysfunctional family unit just like everyone else, we just do it with a little bit of flair. if you take anything away from spending time with us, i hope it is that happiness does not come from changing your situation for a better one, it comes from how you choose to deal with it (or at least how subtly you kick all the dropped balls under the table so no one sees). want to know more?
