So a few things have happened this week which you might be interested in, but before I turn to those matters and I would really like to hear from you? How are things going for your organisation under these difficult circumstances? I have heard from a sports venue which is predicting major financial pressures from closure for the foreseeable future and the same for a Preschool! Also the impact on visitor and arts venues run by the the sector. In response to the loss of income reports I have written to all of our MP’s Andrew Percy MP for Brigg, Holly Mumby, MP for Scunthorpe, and Martin Vickers, MP for Barton and Eastern Parishes, requesting that they support a motion from many MP’s to include Charities in the grants that are being made to small businesses. See attached. I have received positive replies from Holly Mumby and an aid responding for Andrew Percy. Please feel free to use any part of the letter if you wish to write to your MP.
