it’s only been on air for a week on sky tv, but early indications show the ad is being well received. the client has had an influx of enquiries as well as being asked the question, “where can i buy my own hamish5000?” well done hamish. a very nexus christmas vol.2 last year our sister company nexus24 wanted to make a christmas video that was a quirky homage to what's become the bread and butter of christmas action movies, die hard. we received some fantastic feedback and have since been continually asked 'what will you be doing next year?'. we had set the bar pretty high for ourselves, so this year we’ve pulled out all the stops to bring you something bigger and better. not only is it an excuse for our team to let loose and have some fun after a busy year, but it's the perfect opportunity to showcase our many talents. from makeup and prop design to lighting and special effects, our highly skilled team can and have done it all to produce something we're all very proud of. mini countryman all4 a tried and tested recipe for making an engaging and shareable short film for a brand new car. take one mini countryman with all-wheel-drive, one dry ski slope, one ramp, a dozen fearless skiers and snowboarders and mix very, very well. this project presented us with a great opportunity to flex our n24 productions muscle and provide the john clark motor group with a 60 second video that really packed a punch. it had to tread a fine line between the manufacturer’s corporate identity guidelines and the playful character of the mini brand. ultimately, it had to make a strong lifestyle statement, promote the car’s newfound off-road ability, appeal to its outdoorsy target audience and be the main catalyst for generating enquiries and test drives at the dealership via social media and their website. with an avalanche of aerial acrobatics to capture from countless angles in far from ideal weather, the finished film required a masterclass in editing - which just happens to be our creative producer’s speciality. soda ever shot two 90-second online promos with six locations, a cast of twelve, a crew of seven and a dog…in 14 hours?
