skip to content menu and widgets home games castle wars 2.5 castle wars 2 castle wars 1 super pang game forum misc flashdevelop plugins contact me twitter feed tweets by @m0rkeulv castle wars 10 year anniversary! the castle wars game series is now 10 years! while the game have stopped working on many gaming portals that don’t care about updating older games, we still have a small hardcore group of gamers who still play castle wars 1 ten years after the release! i knew the 10 year anniversary was coming up soon so i pushed myself to get castle wars 2.5 done so i could release it for this event, while there is still some work left with multi-player the game is working a 100% and have gotten loads of positive feedback and was released on time. this will probably be the last flash game i’ll ever release and maybe even the last browser game. browser based gaming has in my opinion just been ruined the last couple of years, the non-stop flash hating and shut down of flash game related services is one thing, but it’s also getting harder and harder to get any kind of advertisement for my games and on top of that the revenue has also gotten much worse. i also see loads of consumable micro transaction stuff in games these days and i hate that, i think it ruins almost every game. most people these days also stick to their mobile devices for casual gaming so i don’t see any point making anything for the web anymore. that said i will still probably play around with code and make stuff but it will most likely be for mobile devices, who knows maybe i’ll finish my castle wars for mobile devices poc one day. posted on 14 june 2017 categories news 2 comments on castle wars 10 year anniversary! castle wars 2.5 is here!
