Notre association propose aux pêcheurs des parcours de pêche magnifiques, situés juste à l'amont de Metz et riches en poissons d'espèces très différentes : gardons, ablettes, brèmes, carpes mais aussi perches, sandres, silures et brochets. La variété de nos parcours permet à chacun d'exercer ses pêches préférées, en toute liberté et sans pression de pêche excessive. Tous les ans, Le Républicain Lorrain se fait l'écho de prises exceptionnelles dans la Moselle ou le canal. Des parcours de pêche de la carpe de nuit attirent les adeptes de cette technique- des pêcheurs de carnassiers, du bord ou en barque pratiquent dès l'automne. - des pêches d'ablettes, de gardons ou des brèmes sont possibles à diverses techniques : grande canne ou feeder, que ce soit en Moselle ou dans le canal. L'Association est en outre propriétaire depuis 2017 de l'étang des Arches situé entre Ars et Ancy, l'accès est possible par un chemin partant d'Ars, sous le pont de la gare et en longeant le canal, ou en partant du terrain de foot ball d'Ancy et en longeant la Moselle. Cet étang, d'une surface de l'ordre de 3ha en eau a été fortement rempoissonné à l'automne 2017en carnassiers, carpes, tanches et gardons – de très belles pêches sont ainsi assurées en 2018 et dans les années à venir. Un plan de l'étang est disponible sur le site – attention, une partie est placée en réserve de pêche pour permettre aux poissons de se protéger. Un règlement particulier ( également consultable sur le site ) est destiné à permettre à chaque pêcheur d'exercer sa passion dans la tranquillité et le respect de l'environnement et du poisson L'accès à l'étang est possible pour tout titulaire d'une carte de pêche de l'Association- sans cotisation particulière. Notre Association est également dotée d'un Atelier Pêche et Nature à destination des enfants et des adolescents intéressés par la découverte de la pêche et de la faune du milieu aquatique : une rubrique particulière est réservée sur le site à l'APN. Une action '' Redécouverte de la Pêche ''sera menée en 2018 à destination des adultes qui ont autrefois pratiqué la pêche de loisir, qui s'en sont écartés pour divers motifs, mais qui , arrivés à l'âge de la retraite, souhaitent quelques conseils sur les techniques de pêche,et les endroits à prospecter suivant les saisons. Divers ateliers seront proposés par des spécialistes : coup, feeder, carpe, carnassiers ( voir rubrique dédiées à cette action ). Plus de 300 pêcheurs pratiquent tous les ans sur les parcours de pêche de notre Association, n'hésitez pas à venir nous rejoindre, le meilleur accueil vous sera réservé.
